HOW TO FIX!!! Assassins Creed Brotherhood d3dx9_42.dll IS MISSING!!

Sometime after installing the assassins creed brotherhood game. When you try to run the game
A window will popup and displays

System error

The program can't start because d3dx9_42.dll is missing from your computer
Try reinstalling to fix the problem

STEP 1

First download the "d3dx9_42.dll " file

STEP 2

If your system is 64bit download the "d3dx9_42.dll " file for 64 bit
Or
If your system is 32bit download the "d3dx9_42.dll " file for 32 bit

STEP 3

Copy the "d3dx9_42.dll " file

STEP 4

Go to My Computer > Local Disk (C:) > Windows > SysWOW64

STEP 5

Now paste the "d3dx9_42.dll " file to the folder (SysWOW64)

STEP 6

Close the folder

STEP 7

Run the Assassin's creed Brotherhood
